As a lifelong book lover I was inspired to write this as a tribute to books for what they have brought to my life.
Good Stories

Stories bend us
They rend
They scar
They maim
Make us ashamed of not being better

But,
They also mold the outside
Stories make us stand
They build
They console
They encourage
Make us wonder if we really could

So,
They work magic both in and out
Stories change us
They knight us
They challenge
They inspire
Crown us kings and queens
If only for a page.
